Aurora

Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian musician and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is a May 2015 release from Decca Records. It has been praised by the blogs and the press. She has previously released two top-of-the-line covers Half the World Away by the group Oasis in a commercial for Christmas from John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry, who endorsed the tune Runaway with her voice, has given her the track a little more attention. Celebrate her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was when she discovered a keyboard in her loft and being fascinated by its music. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes urged Aurora to pursue music, not as work or for a passion however, as a chance to improve. The Aksnes family advised her to compose. She credits renowned composers Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan for inspiration, as well as an appreciation for the style of Bjork. Her mother had informed her that her music can not only aid in her efforts to achieve fame and also inspire others to see their importance within the global community and see how they can benefit from her songs and her music, she was inspired to start singing in public. She started playing piano when she was six years old and started writing music at age nine. The family did not know about this until she was 14. The dream was never to be Aurora. The singer claims she is a fan of writing songs. According to her, she believes music can make anyone feel better.
