Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn has been an actor for more than twenty years. Her most well-known role was in the role of Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards to recognize Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She performed the roles of Jean Ward and Martha Bullock as well in The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in Preparatory before her Family moved to Ohio. She was a theatre student through Northwestern University and spent a year studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career in Chicago performing in stage role for several years. Later, she relocated to Hollywood and began acting in TV shows and films. Anna was selected to portray Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the 29-episode show Down the Shore. Anna continued to be an actor in handful of TV shows and films including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue until the late 1990's, when she was cast in a role that she reprised in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. She starred as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons in the late 2000s. She also starred in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in 2008. Sully was one of her roles. Gunn appeared on stage in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. She also had a role in the show Numbered Day, which is a podcast consisting of four audio-based plays. Breaking Bad is often centered around the relationship between Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and final break-up echoes the last years of Walter White's life.
